Multisite CMS Platform
The challenge
The publisher ran four regional news sites, each on separate, independently-maintained WordPress installs. A single content update โ say, a shared syndicated article โ had to be manually copied into four different admin panels, and each site had drifted into a different, unmaintained theme version.
The approach
We consolidated all four sites onto a single WordPress multisite network with one shared codebase and theme, while keeping each region's branding, navigation, and advertising slots fully independent. Shared articles can be published once and syndicated to any combination of sites with one click, while region-specific stories stay local.
The result
Editorial time spent on cross-posting dropped by roughly 70%, theme updates now apply to all four sites simultaneously, and each region retains its own visual identity and independent publishing calendar.
